Accessibility
How this site is built to be read
Target: WCAG 2.2 AA, with readable type and no horizontal scrolling on a phone.
Type and colour
Body and data text is 16px or larger, labels are 14px or larger, and line height is at least 1.5. Every text and background pair used meets the AA contrast ratio, including the key date, the links and the small print.
Controls
Every control has a label, the three check questions sit in fieldsets with legends, and every target is at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, with the main buttons at 44px. The check result is announced in a live region when it changes.
Structure
One h1 per page, landmark regions, a skip link, and a visible focus outline. Tables scroll inside their own container, never the page. The print stylesheet drops the navigation and keeps the duty and its docket.
Known limits
The check needs JavaScript. With JavaScript off, the register pages still work and the check says it needs JavaScript rather than failing silently. Motion is limited to a short focus transition and is reduced when the operating system asks for reduced motion.
Tell us about a barrier
Write to support@theartofservice.com with the page and what happened. A barrier is treated as a defect and fixed before the next release.
