How a provision becomes a page
One reviewed record drives the pages, the check, the kit and the watch. The same input gives the same answer in every output, and a change is not done until they agree.
1. Read the official text
The as made text is downloaded from the Federal Register of Legislation, at https://www.legislation.gov.au/C2026A00066/latest/text, and read in full. The commencement table is read item by item. Nothing is written from memory, a search snippet or a media summary.
2. Record the unit
Each provision that places a duty becomes a unit with a citation, the schedule and part, the commencement date, the party it binds, the penalty, the requirement in our own words, the evidence line, the actions and the limit. Every field carries a source pointer.
3. Check the wording
Every authored line is tested against the source for a seven word overlap. That is a copying and attribution check, not a legal accuracy test. Titles and defined terms stay verbatim; everything else is our own statement, and each page is then read against the provision it cites. Where the Act is silent, the page says so.
4. Build every output from the record
The same record produces the register pages, the free check, the PDF, CSV and XLSX kit, and the watch baseline. The prose for each provision is authored against that record and held in it, so every output replays the same answer; no output is edited on its own.
5. Refresh and watch
A refresh script re-downloads the text, diffs it against the snapshot and fails loudly on any change. That diff is what the paid watch sends. The record carries the date it was read, and every page shows the same last updated date.
